Municipal Works Australia was proud to participate in The Safe Driving Experience, hosted by Link Resources at the North Brisbane Facility in Kurwongbah on Friday, 12 June 2026.
The event brought together industry professionals for an engaging morning of practical demonstrations, site tours, networking, and discussions focused on improving driver safety and capability in challenging operating environments.
Attendees had the opportunity to experience firsthand the impressive training facilities at Kurwongbah, including purpose-built 4WD and AWD terrain, specialised road sections, emergency braking zones, slalom courses, and dedicated trailer manoeuvring areas. The live demonstrations showcased advanced driving techniques, defensive driving strategies, skid control, and emergency response scenarios, highlighting the importance of practical, hands-on training in creating safer workplaces and more confident drivers.
