Smarter, Faster, Greener Municipal Works
Prince of Wales Showgrounds, Bendigo
Municipal works is powered by the people on the ground-engineers, supervisors, operators and field crews who plan, deliver and maintain the infrastructure that keeps communities moving.
The 2027 MWA National Conference in Bendigo will place these professionals at the centre of the conversation. Built around the theme Smarter, Faster, Greener Municipal Works, the conference will focus on the practical challenges facing councils, depots and worksites across Australia.
The program will explore better asset management, more efficient maintenance practices, emerging technologies, streamlined field-to-office workflows and stronger integration between planning, design and delivery. It will also examine the changing needs of the municipal workforce, including skills development, workforce attraction and preparing teams for new tools and ways of working.
MWA Bendigo 2027 will bring together municipal works professionals, industry leaders and suppliers to share practical ideas, learn from real-world experience and build valuable connections.
At its core, the conference is about equipping the people who deliver municipal works with the knowledge, tools and networks they need to work smarter, move faster and build greener communities.
