Based on the outstanding accomplishments of the Next-Gen session at our 2024 National Conference, the team led by Branden Thompson (Mount Alexander Shire), Ruby Lewis (Fulton Hogan), Sheridan Kilner (IntoWork), and Andrew Thwaites (Hiway Group) has initiated a next-generation networking group.

As representatives of the ‘next generation’, the networking group aims to support individuals and organizations within our membership base by offering an innovative perspective and new insights to drive initiatives that appeal to a wider audience and embrace modern trends and technologies. We believe that this will:

• Support our association’s growth and relevance.
• Increase membership engagement.
• Raise the level of multi-generational and female presence within the association’s strategic planning and governance.
• Help in shaping our programs and events to ensure better representation of the next generation.

The Next-Generation group is a valuable addition to the association’s services. We will provide members with information about how to participate in the group in the coming weeks.
